Welcome to Maaahr, an AI-powered hiring and career preparation platform operated by Maaahr Technologies ("we," "us," or "our"), based in Iraq. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, services, and tools (collectively, "Services"). By using our Services, you agree to these Terms in full. If you do not agree, please do not use our Services.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into contracts under Iraqi law to use our Services.

If you represent a business or organization, you confirm you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

2. Services Overview

For HR Users: We provide tools to post jobs, rank candidates, conduct AI-driven interviews, and receive summaries.

For Job Seekers: We offer AI-powered interview practice sessions with feedback and progress tracking.

Services are provided "as is" and may evolve over time without prior notice.

3. User Accounts

You must create an account to access most Services. Provide accurate, current information and keep your login credentials confidential.

You are responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at info@maaahr.com if you suspect unauthorized use.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for misuse, fraud, or violation of these Terms.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use Services for illegal purposes or to violate Iraqi laws (e.g., Penal Code provisions on fraud or defamation).
Upload harmful content, including viruses, false data, or material infringing intellectual property rights.
Misrepresent your identity, qualifications, or job details.
Interfere with or reverse-engineer our platform’s functionality.
Job seekers may not submit fabricated responses; HR users may not use candidate data beyond hiring purposes.

5. Fees and Payments

Fees apply based on your chosen plan (e.g., Pay-as-you-go, Basic, Professional). Details are provided at signup or on our pricing page.

Payments are accepted via cash, ZainCash, or SuperQi, processed in Iraqi Dinars (IQD).

All fees are non-refundable unless we fail to deliver Services due to our sole fault, as determined by us.

We may adjust fees with 30 days’ notice via email or website announcement.

6. Intellectual Property

We own all rights to the Maaahr platform, AI algorithms, logos, and content (excluding user-provided data).

You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, store, and process data you submit (e.g., job postings, interview responses) solely to provide and improve Services.

You may not copy, modify, or distribute our content without written permission.

7. User Data and Responsibilities

You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of data you provide (e.g., job postings, candidate profiles).

We are not liable for disputes arising from inaccurate or misleading user data.

You indemnify us against claims resulting from your data or misuse of Services.

8. Termination

You may stop using Services anytime by closing your account.

We may terminate or suspend your access immediately if you breach these Terms, violate Iraqi law, or harm our platform’s integrity.

Upon termination, unpaid fees remain due, and your data may be deleted after 365 days.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Iraqi law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (e.g., lost profits, data loss) arising from your use of Services.

Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the prior 3 months.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free Services due to factors beyond our control (e.g., internet outages).

10. Disclaimers

Services are provided "as is" without warranties beyond what Iraqi law mandates.

We do not endorse or verify user content (e.g., job postings, candidate responses) and are not responsible for hiring outcomes.

11. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by Iraqi law, with disputes resolved in the courts of Baghdad, unless otherwise required by mandatory local law.

Any claim must be filed within one year of the issue arising.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms with 15 days’ notice via email or our website. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
